The annual Missouri River Irish Fest takes place in Frontier Park in Historic St. Charles, over Memorial Day weekend, Friday, May 26th through Sunday, May 28th. The festival celebrates all things Irish with live Irish music, Irish vendors, food and drink, children's activities and more! Admission is FREE! See website for more details and information.
Frontier park hosts many annual events such as the Festival of the Little Hills, a Fourth of July Celebration, St. Charles Oktoberfest, the Lewis & Clark Heritage Days Festival, Missouri Irishfest and many more! It is also a major trailhead for the Katy Trail State Park. The area that the park covers was the location of the campsite of the Lewis and Clark Expedition when it stopped in St. Charles for several days, May 15, 1804 through May 20, 1804, and on the return trip for one day on September 21, 1806.
Directions: Located along the Missouri River in Historic St. Charles. Accessible from Interstate 70 by going north on 5th Street to east (right) on Boone's Lick Road, to left on Riverside Drive.
